- Pear Tree is a peaceful touring caravan and camping holiday park in the small village of Holton Heath, which is in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside but very near to the coast. Poole and the market town of Wareham are just a few miles away.
The park sits right on the edge of the impressive Purbeck Hills and is within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site, with its rocky coves, craggy cliffs and glorious sandy beaches.
Pear Tree Holiday Park is a perfect destination for families, couples and groups in search of a relaxing getaway. There are fantastic on-site facilities, a pub serving delicious food within walking distrance and a wealth of attractions nearby. - Tourist Attractions
- Dorset's stunning Jurassic Coast boasts numerous geological and wildlife wonders. Venture inland and you will find dramatic landscapes with heathlands, ancient woodlands and valleys with numerous walking and cycling routes. There are also plenty of local attractions to keep young minds entertained, as well as large towns steeped in history, rural villages and bustling seaside resorts.
Nearby beaches include Sandbanks, Shell Bay, Studland, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Kimmeridge and Chesil Beach.
Pear Tree is ideally situated for exploring Poole, Bournemouth, Swanage and The New Forest.
Golfers are catered for with nearby courses at Wareham and the Isle of Purbeck.
There are course fishing lakes within 500 metres of Pear Tree, and good sea and river fishing is available around Poole Harbour where launching facilities for yachts and power boats are also available.
A bridle-path, ideal for country walks and cycle rides, leads from the park extending to the Wareham Forest.
Other attractions include Corfe Castle, The Blue Poole Furzebrook, Brownsea Island, Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre, The Tank Museum Bodington and The Dinosaur Museum Dorchester. - Directions
- On the west side of Poole, when you reach the junction of the A35 and the A351 follow the A351 to Wareham. After around 2 miles, you will reach a set of traffic lights.Turn right at these lights, Pear Tree is around a further ½ mile on your left.

- We are offering a 10% discount on any holiday for people aged 55 or over at any Darwin Park. Proof of age will be required on check in. There is also a 13% discount on any break or holiday for Camping and Caravan Club members. Membership cards must be shown.
